Did you know that the clock tower that houses Big Ben at the Palace of Westminster is 96 metres tall? Big Ben is actually the 13.5 ton bell at the top of the tower.
Construction on the Millennium Dome began in March 1998. Now a sports and entertainment centre and known as the North Greenwich Arena for the Olympic Games, the Arena will host Artistic Gymnastics, Trampoline, Basketball and Wheelchair Basketball.
